Boredom

Hello all. Sorry for the lack of blogs this week. Since my big birthday extravaganza my social calendar has taken a dive into utter boredom. There really isn't much going on here at all. No wedding to plan, no home improvement projects, no relatives visiting. Nada. I do have the Sex and the City movie coming up that I'm really looking forward to but all I'm really doing at this point is trying to figure out what to wear.

We did book our flight to New York for Meg's wedding. We're really looking forward to seeing everyone again and to spending time in New York. Joe is really looking forward to a clam bake, I'm really looking forward to just hanging out. I think we're going to take a trip into Manhattan one day so I'm trying to figure out some fun stuff to do while we're there. We've been to the city a couple of times but, for the most part, have just wandered the streets taking it all in. We've never really made a plan. There are a few things on my list of to-do's but they mostly revolve around food. I figure in a day we could eat, what, 6 or 7 meals... and a couple different cupcakes?

Other than those few things, my calendar is empty. It's a little depressing but I'm sure eventually something will come up that I'll have to do. It's Mother's Day so I have to send a shout out to all the moms out there. I hope you all have a wonderful day. I cooked breakfast for my mom and sister this morning. It was nice to have everyone over.

Anyway, I think I'm off to scour the Internet for a cute dress and an even cuter pair of shoes for my SATC movie night. I'll let you all know how I do. Talk to you soon.
